dr. christian ntizimira is coming to thunder bay for 2 special hybrid events!

, is excited to announce two hybrid events taking place on oct. 23 with special guest dr. christian ntizimira from rwanda.
dr. ntizimira and holly prince will speak over the lunch hour at lu campus on the topic of 'decolonizing palliative care: end-life care experiences in rwanda and first nation communities.' and in the evening, dr. ntizimira will present on 'the safari concept: ubuntu philosophy and african perspectives on end-of-life care' at st. joseph's heritage.
dr. christian ntizimira pioneered the integration of palliative care and end of life care into health services rendered to rwandan cancer patients and in community settings. he is the author of “the safari concept: an african framework on end-of-life care” and founder/executive director of the african center for research on end-of-life care (acreol).

, faculty, health and social care providers, and community members. food and refreshments will be provided. cerah is pleased to cohost these events with the thunder bay palliative care associates, hospice northwest, and the north west regional palliative care program, st. joseph's care group.
