dr. heenkenda leads the lakehead applied geomatics laboratory in the department of geography and the environment at lakehead's thunder bay campus. her group consists of undergraduate and graduate 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , visiting 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , and gis technicians/research associates from a range of interdisciplinary backgrounds who are committed to developing innovative research in the areas of gis, remote sensing, and spatial analysis that address pressing social and environment issues in canada and beyond. dr. heenkenda also holds an adjunct faculty position in natural resources management, where she contributes substantially to graduate student research and mentorship.
