the marketing and communications associate is the contact for departments and faculties to ensure all marketing materials and publications produced for the community zone -- in a variety of media -- conform to the university's brand guidelines and support the institution's mission, vision, and strategic objectives both in content and delivery.the successful candidate must possess post-secondary education in marketing, graphic design or relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the post-secondary or not-for-profit sector. the incumbent must have experience with graphic art/design and knowledge of design programs (adobe creative suites) required, as well as knowledge and experience in social media, website design, functionality and implementation.

this postdoctoral fellowship is offered within a research project that seeks to implement strategies to improve the provision of culturally safe health care for indigenous peoples in thunder bay on, london, on and the surrounding regions. through this project, the successful candidate will engage with multiple-stakeholders to identify, design and implement culturally safe policies, practices and training through collaborative action-based and indigenous methodologies.
the post-doctoral fellowship will be supervised by dr. lana ray. dr. ray, an anishinaabe scholar located in the department of indigenous learning at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 , is the co-principal investigator on the project and the lead for the thunder bay site. the project is funded by the canadian institute of health research (cihr).
the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach online and/or in-person in the indigenous learning department at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 including the opportunity to design their own course. remuneration for this opportunity is in addition to the post-doctoral fellowship salary.
