the ideal candidate will have teaching and research expertise in indigenous legal traditions.  preference will be given to qualified candidates with research and teaching expertise in either anishinaabe law or métis law or both. the faculty invites candidates to discuss their experience engaging with the language, worldview, traditions, and protocols of an indigenous people, and the ways in which their teaching and research address the relationship between indigenous laws and indigenous languages, worldviews, traditions, and protocols, where such is the case. the faculty encourages applications from candidates who employ indigenous pedagogy in their teaching, including land-based pedagogy.

the bora laskin faculty of law has a tripartite mandate, which includes a focus on aboriginal and indigenous law, environmental and natural resources law, and rural and small firm practice. the faculty’s integrated practice curriculum incorporates the requirements of articling into the faculty’s three-year program. the law society of upper canada has approved the integrated practice curriculum; as a result, successful graduates may be called to the bar in ontario without completing a separate period of articles. our faculty have experience practising law, and many of our courses include skills-based exercises. the faculty encourages applications from those who have experience in the practise of indigenous law, and who can incorporate indigenous skills exercises into their courses.

阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 , in partnership with the thunder bay regional research institute (tbrri), invites applications for a new 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 /tbrri research chair in radiochemistry for molecular imaging and advanced diagnostics. the position will be tenure-track or tenured and available in any academic rank at the university depending on the candidate's qualifications. the successful candidate will be appointed in one of three faculties: engineering, science and environmental studies, or health and behavioural sciences. candidates will have a phd in a relevant science or engineering discipline and a minimum of two years experience post-doctorate. the successful candidate will be expected to undertake an externally funded research program related to the broad field of medical imaging technology and applications, and specifically a program that studies medical applications of radioisotopes, making use of the advanced cyclotron systems tr-24 cyclotron operated by the thunder bay regional health sciences centre. the candidate should have expertise in the use and handling of radioisotopes, understanding of regulatory standards for radiochemicals, and familiarity with the functioning of a cyclotron. candidates without direct experience with a cyclotron must have significant relevant research experience in some other aspect of radiochemical, medical, or pharmaceutical research. engineering candidates are expected to be registered professional engineers or qualified and willing to pursue such designation in the province of ontario.

the successful candidate will provide assistance in the commissioning and maintenance of a variety of audio, video, and control devices in classrooms, meeting rooms and lecture theatres.  additional responsibilities include supporting the use of video conferencing, web streaming, pre- and post-lecture capture, content distribution and other collaborative technologies for the university's academic, administrative and promotional events. the multimedia technician will provide routine maintenance for audio/visual and communication equipment, actively monitor equipment systems, install multimedia and security hardware and assist with the configuration and testing of related software.   

the successful candidate will have a post-secondary education or a combination of education and related experience with the operation and maintenance of multimedia equipment.  additional qualifications include knowledge and understanding of the operation and maintenance of multimedia and audio/visual equipment used on campus including computer connections to projectors, creston interfaces and lcd displays, understanding of windows/mac operating systems and presentation software, professional audio and sound reinforcement, various video formats and conversion. an excellent multitasker, the ideal candidate has experience advising others on the proper methods of use of various products and specialized equipment. strong organizational, problem-solving skills and customer service experience is a necessity.
