threads of care: entangled perspectives in working with
socio-spatial tools, sata, and environmental justice

artist statement

this tapestry makes visible the tacit expressions of people across canada working on threading environmental justice and socio-spatial tools and the researcher's role in synthesizing these narratives. the creation process experimented with the potentialities of analyzing and translating knowledge in a qualitative study, utilizing an arts-integrated methodology and emergent weaving.

marzana bates

brigitte champaigne-klassen is a textile artist and master of health sciences candidate at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 specializing in social-ecological systems, sustainability, & health. she is interested in exploring creative processes that generate fertile and unexpected expansions in our relationships with knowledge and the narratives we weave around health and justice.
