the lakehead loves you! student appreciation day will be held in thunder bay on tuesday, feb. 14, and in orillia on tuesday, feb. 14 (simcoe hall) and at heritage place on thursday, feb. 16 and friday, feb. 17.

more information will be included in the communications bulletin and the weekly student email closer to student appreciation day.

dr. robert robson, chair of indigenous learning at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 , will speak about the history and legacy of canada's residential schools in this public lecture at the orillia museum of art and history.

dr. robson's work on residential schools includes briefs that were submitted on behalf of the plaintiffs in the national class action suit, and he is currently researching and writing a monograph on the residential school experience.

join the centre for health care ethics for a presentation and discussion on "the ethics of risk taking: a practical tool for client and patient choices".

- learn how to "reframe" risk with some new approaches

- explore 4 criteria to use when agreeing to support (or not) risk taking behaviours by clients/residents

- apply/practice a new risk management support tool presenter: christopher de bono, phd, vice president, mission, ethics & spirituality, providence health care, vancouver, bc
