2026 relay for life is back at lakehead! relay for life is an official annual walk-a-thon fundraiser in support of canadian cancer society, where all funds raised from the event are donated to support the various cancer treatment, research, and campaign programs ran by canadian cancer society. in addition to being a fundraiser, relay is an event where the community can come together to reflect and support those impacted by cancer, and demonstrate our perseverance, solidarity and hope to show that life is bigger than cancer.

our committee is hosting the 2026 lu relay for life at the hangar, on march 6th from 4pm-12am! participants are not required to stay for the event, and are free to visit and leave as it best fit their schedule as a drop-in event. relay does not involve running, but it is packed with different activities and events for you to enjoy! the $20 registration fee covers the t-shirt merch, luminary, food and event access. the $20 fee is also contributed to our overall donation amount for ccs.

this year, our relay for life committee is aiming to raise $10,000 for the ccs, and we need your support! every amount, and participation counts. we welcome all members from our community, and participants do not have to be 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 . we also welcome cancer survivors and/or caregivers or anyone who has been affected by cancer to be our guest.

registration and/or donations can be made at relayforlife.ca/lakehead. if you are interested but are unable to attend, we happily accept donations of any amount on our website!
