2025 cerah conference | poster abstract guidelines


please note: these guidelines are for posters only. all other presentation applications are now closed.
the centre for education and research on aging & health is seeking abstracts for poster presentations. we encourage 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 to participate and be entered for a chance to win a cash prize in the poster competition! submissions should align with one (or more) of our areas of expertise: aging in place, dementia and seniors’ mental health, indigenous peoples’ aging & health, and palliative care.
event dates: october 2, 2025 – october 3, 2025
location: the superior inn hotel & conference centre, thunder bay
poster size & orientation: 48” x 36” landscape

- set-up begins at 7:30 am
- poster session #1 & breakfast – 8:00 am – 9:00 am
- poster session #2 & nutrition break – 11:00 am – 11:30 am

october 3 (day 2)

general guidelines
length and format
abstracts must be no longer than 300 words (this does not include the title and authors), and include the following required headings:
- background/introduction
- purpose
- what will participants gain or learn from your poster?
language:
only submissions in english will be accepted.
please write the abstract in plain language.
as the submitted abstracts will be reproduced exactly as provided, without any proofreading, please ensure that your abstract is free from spelling, grammatical, or scientific errors. once an abstract has been submitted, no changes can be made.

registration
all presenters must be registered for the conference by september 19, 2025 in order to be confirmed as a presenter.
all presenters are responsible for any and all costs associated with registration, printed materials, travel, accommodations, meals, etc.
submission process
all abstracts must be submitted through the online form below.
abstracts will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- clarity and quality of content
- relevance to conference streams
- educational value and practical impact
- originality and innovation
- alignment with submission guidelines
- engagement and audience appeal
- diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations
it is the responsibility of the presenting author to notify any other contributing authors or presenters if the poster is accepted.
