the breaking new ground grant funds innovative, high-reward projects that will break new ground and build evidence and programs to dramatically improve the prevention, treatment, and care cascade in ontario. this funding stream supports the piloting, evaluation, or scale up of hiv interventions. the project should address a clear care or quality gap in the current hiv care cascade, or health and social system and work to achieve impact at the front lines of hiv prevention and care.

the implementation science grant funds the development of sustainable, effective hiv programs and services. the goal is to promote the utilization and adoption of evidence-based hiv interventions; support the planning, execution, and implementation of hiv interventions using appropriate implementation science methodologies; and improve hiv programs and services by cultivating regular uptake of evidence-based practice. this funding stream will support implementation science initiatives that will contribute to a rapid learning system for hiv. the project should address a clear care or quality gap in the current hiv care cascade, or health and social system.

shastri indo-canadian institute is pleased to announce a call for applications from the faculty members/ academics of sici's canadian member institutions for shastri faculty collaboration and internationalization (sfci) project grants.

the sfci project is part of sici’s canadian scholars to india (csi) program, funded by global affairs canada, the government of canada.  the csi program goal is to improve and diversify canadian scholars' short-term academic mobility to india.

sfci project objectives

the sfci project aims to create, strengthen, and diversify ways for long-term collaborations and internationalization dimensions in canadian and indian universities. the interventions would extend opportunities to make india a leading destination for institutional partnerships and networks, scholarly exchanges, research collaborations, curriculum internationalization, joint degree programs, and study abroad programs for canadian faculty members and 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 . the execution of sfci project activities will enhance the capacity, excellence, intercultural understanding, and global engagement of participating faculty members, 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 and institutions.

crohn's and colitis canada invites applications for an innovations grant, to fund novel or innovative approaches to ibd research. this grant is intended to stimulate and support research which may not be encompassed within the boundaries of traditional medical research. research proposals must conform to sound principles of research and may aim to collect pilot data for follow-on application(s). our organization seeks mission relevance and excellence as well as innovation.

grants to a maximum of $50,000 for one year may be awarded.

gias support research projects with a defined objective, conducted by an investigator working alone or in collaboration. gias support research projects related to ibd aligned with crohn’s and colitis canada’s promise and strategic directions.

sshrc postdoctoral fellowships are expected to respond to the objectives of the research training and talent development.

these fellowships support the most promising canadian new scholars in the social sciences and humanities, and assist them in establishing a research base at an important time in their research careers.

the purpose of these fellowships is to provide stipendiary support to recent phd graduates who are:

• undertaking original research;
• publishing research findings;

• broadening their teaching experience;

sshrc postdoctoral fellowship awards are tenable at canadian or foreign universities and research institutions.

sshrc welcomes applications involving indigenous research, as well as those involving research-creation.

nrcan’s climate change adaptation program (2022–2027) helps to position canada’s regions and sectors to adapt to a changing climate. the program aims to:

1. support decision-makers in identifying and implementing adaptation actions;
2. enhance adaptation knowledge and skills among canada’s workforce; and
3. increase access to climate change adaptation tools and resources.

the program is soliciting proposals for cost-shared projects that will make important contributions to advancing adaptation progress in canada. up to $15 million in funding may be awarded through this call for proposals.

we welcome proposals for projects that address climate change adaptation on the following topics (see the applicant guide for more information):

• adaptation skills
• economics
• emerging issues
• natural resource sectors

projects requesting less than $150,000 of nrcan funding will not be considered through this call for proposals.

note: the government of canada may fund up to 60% of the total project costs, with the exception of projects led by indigenous organizations, governments or communities or by territorial governments, where nrcan may fund up to 100% of the total project costs.

the project grant program is expected to:

• support a diverse portfolio of health-related research and knowledge translation proposals at any stage, from discovery to application, including commercialization;
