obw exchange program

one or two semesters of full-time study, for 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 in virtually all disciplines except medicine and dentistry.   

obw summer research program

two or three months of research, for 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 in science, engineering, and health science disciplines.

obw international lake constance summer school

four-week immersion program in german language and culture, for 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 in all disciplines.

canada’s trade commissioner service (tcs) invites you to participate in this first-ever horizon europe and canada online matchmaking event: bridging the atlantic – greentech 2024

horizon europe has recently published over ten greentech project calls(see table at the end) with budgets of c$9 to 45 million each. they opened on september 17, 2024 and close on february 4, 2025.

for this event canada’s mission to the european union is working closely with eit global outreach, the global arm of the european institute of innovation & technology (eit, europe’s largest innovation network), along with eit climate-kic, eit food and eit manufacturing and cluster 5  national contact points (ncps) from canada, france, germany, ireland, the netherlands, sweden, switzerland the uk, who all will be inviting their respective networks to participate in this online matchmaking event. this event will be recorded and shared.

this online matchmaking event will take place on wednesday, october 9, 2024, from 10:30am to noon et (4:30pm to 6pm brussels/cet).  click register to participate.

the first part will provide an overview of the calls with best practices, followed by partner countries’ strengths and interests. the second part will be moderated breakout rooms where participants can share their two-minute pitches and connect with potential partners.

daad rise professional - summer 2025

rise stands for research internships in science and engineering. rise professional offers summer research internships in germany to master’s and ph.d. 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 fcompanies and non-university research institutions with strong relations to industry. undergraduates who are rise germany alumni are also eligible. depending on the internship recent graduates are also eligible. there are currently 120 internships on offer, at research institutes like max plank instutute of animal behavior, fraunhofer institute for wind energy systems, or jülich supercomputing centre, or companies such as siemens, basf, jena bioscience, quodata, petanux ...   depending on the internship, recent graduates are also eligible. rise professional is funded by the german federal foreign office.

• the program is open for 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 in the field of biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, earth science, engineering or a closely related field
• all participants receive a scholarship from daad and an additional stipend from their host company/institution to help cover living expenses
• funding is possible for a minimum of 10 weeks and up to six months in length, depending on the internship
• in most cases, the internship can be done in english, but there may be placements with german language requirements.
• undergraduates who are alumni from the rise germany program, and recent graduates(depending on the internship), are also eligible to apply

rise stands for research internships in science and engineering. rise germany offers undergraduate 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 from north american, british and irish universities the opportunity to complete a summer research internship at top german universities and research institutions. rise germany matches them with phd 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 and researchers (only at universities of applied sciences) for a summer research internship in germany. in canada, daad partners with mitacs to administer the program.

who can apply? undergraduate 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 in their sophomore year and above in the fields of biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, earth sciences, and physics. how does it work? the internship providers help integrate the undergraduate student directly into the lab work and serve as personal and professional mentors. the interns get a glimpse of advanced research work while gaining desirable practical experience in their field. they learn about germany from the inside while meeting new people and taking their first steps with the german language and culture.

the scholarship. mitacs provides $6,000 to support the student’s travel costs and living expenses. the daad provides health, accident, and liability insurance. the daad provides logistical support to selected 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 (including assistance finding accommodation in cooperation with mentors at the host institution, information on visas and work permits, and research arrangements). daad alsoinvites all fellows to a rise meeting at the beginning of july where they have an opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences while exploring the historic city of heidelberg.
