as part of nserc’s commitment to better support the needs of the research community at smaller institutions, nserc is offering a tailored “how to apply to discovery grants” webinar for small universities again this year. this webinar will be presented by an nserc program officer and an evaluation group member who will be providing advice and answering questions. this session is intended to complement the other sessions (q&a) and webinars available on nserc's website, which nserc offers as part of its dg program.

nserc is organizing an information session on the newly launched nserc-cse research communities grants call for proposals. nserc will provide researchers with the context, objectives, requirements, and the application process. the session will be offered virtually in september 2024. please register ahead of time by clicking on desired link below and then clicking the “register” button on the event page.
the sessions will focus on the details of this call, including cse background and objectives, the benefits of the call, funding and duration, applicant eligibility, the application process, the call for proposals, timelines and more!
researchers are welcome to submit their questions about this call for proposals ahead of the information session via the registration link (see below). when registering for a session, there will be an optional text box for advance questions. submitting a question in advance will ensure that nserc can get to a researcher's question during the presentation.
